CGI has today announced it will supply a new digital licensing platform to manage the various licenses, registrations, permits and certificates required by New South Wales Government Agencies to promote public safety and ensure compliance with legislation. The agreement with the New South Wales Department of Customer Service will see CGI support a digital first approach to state licensing using the Calytera Amanda product (now owned by Granicus). The five-year contract was awarded using funding from the government’s new Digital Restart innovation fund and will replace previously disparate licensing systems to enhance licensing across NSW and provide a more cost-effective, standardised and improved citizen experience.
