CITATIONS
Police cited Silas Decker, 32, of Manhattan, for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 8:58 p.m. Wednesday while at the 100 block of Bluemont Avenue.
INCIDENTS
Police reported fraud at about 8:46 a.m. Thursday when a 32-year-old woman said someone she does not know hacked into her American Airlines account and stole 63,600 miles. The loss is about $1,416.
Officers responded to burglary and criminal damage to property at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of Poyntz Avenue. Employees at Manhattan High School reported someone they do not know breaking into the school’s roof and damaging the ceiling for a loss of about $1,500.
An 88-year-old man reported to police that two people he knows burglarized his home at about 3:36 p.m. Thursday in the 5300 block of William Wood Road. Sarah Drake, 33, of Wichita and Austin Sherwin, 28, Junction City were arrested in connection with the crime. Police charged Drake with burglary and interference with law enforcement while officers arrested Sherwin on burglary alone. Both suspects are held on $10,000 bond.
Law enforcement officers arrested Kelli Stockton, 26, of Manhattan, while being held at Riley County jail at about 3:45 p.m. Thursday. Police arrested her on probable cause offenses from a 2022 Riley County District Court warrant for eight counts of computer unlawful act for false representation with damage over $100,000. Stockton is also charged with one count of theft by deception; up to $1,500 from three businesses in three days
