First Christian Church
Rev. Laurie Lewis will give the message "Proximity Alarm Device" based onPsalm 16:7-11 at our 10:30 am communion worship. During worship we will have Blessing of the Backpacks for all those returning to school. Following worship Rev. Lewis will lead a session about First Christian for new members, those thinking about joining, and those just curious. Lunch will be served at that gathering. Elders also will also meet, with lunch as well. Men's Breakfast is 8 am Tuesday at Vista and later Tuesday morning a group of volunteers will help out at the Breadbasket. Do Day Quilters meet at 9 am on Wednesday. Disciples Women Faith Sisters have dinner out on Thursday. On Saturday, August 13 we will attend a Disciples Connect and Equip gathering in McPherson.
