Oppo Find N2: second generation foldable smartphone with updated specs

The Oppo Find N2 came in nicely after one year since its predecessor’s debut, so let’s check out what differences it makes and whether there’s a need to upgrade.

Oppo Find N is for those who like the cool concept of foldable devices, but only for those who can afford it.

Now that it’s out of the way, let’s turn our attention to the Find N2 which has the following specs:

A quick glance over the Find N2 and you can see the stark similarities between itself and the predecessor, the Find N. Coming in with a large 7.1-inch LTPO AMOLED and high 120Hz refresh rate, it also has a high brightness that goes up to 1550 nits. When folded, it sports a 5.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and high 1350 nits brightness. Either way, the Gorilla Glass Victus will give it the needed all-around protection.

Under the hood of the Find N2 is the high-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset being paired with a blazingly fast Cortex octa-core processor, great Adreno 730 graphics and either 12GB or 16GB RAM. This right here is one of the fastest combinations that you can find in foldable devices. There’s nothing that will be able to slow this beast down.

Camera-wise, the Find N2 is nothing short of spectacular thanks to the 50MP+32MP+48MP Sony triple primary camera with Hasselblad calibration. It is highly capable of taking great shots, as it is fully loaded with all the bells and whistles of a great point-and-shoot camera. Then there’s also the 32MP selfie camera that can take great-looking selfies for all your social media needs.

Moving on to the storage side of things, the Find N2 does not have an expansion slot – as so do many other flagships in this category. But don’t worry, as you can choose either 256GB or 512GB depending on your budget.

As for the battery, the 4520 mAh Li-Po battery might be a little bit on the low side. But don’t worry though, as the fast-charging 67W will get it up to 100% in just 40 minutes. Just enough to take a rest or take a shower while you are at it.

The latest Android 13 operating system will be there right out of the box, so you know you got the best hardware and the best software. Finally, the Find N2 comes with dual-sim capability and 5G connectivity.

Conclusion:

Oppo Find N2 is the much-needed upgrade from last year’s predecessor. Large 7.1-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a high refresh rate, great protection, great performance with an even greater camera setup with Hasselblad calibration, large storage and the latest operating system makes for a great flagship if you are looking for a foldable smartphone.
