Somehow the naming convention is a bit confusing, thought the number goes up according to the latest ones. Anyhow, the Nokia X30 is a much-needed update from last year. It now comes with a mid-sized 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen a 90Hz refresh rate and a decent brightness level.

The smartphone is also well protected, thanks to its Gorilla Glass protection and IP67 rating. This means you can bring along with you just about anywhere. The fingerprint sensor under display adds a cool touch to it.

Underneath the Nokia X30 is the latest Snapdragon 695 5G chipset being paired with a fast Kryo octa-core processor, good graphics and up to 8GB of RAM. Although not the fastest, but still fast enough for all your daily gaming and other stuffs.

Camera-wise, the Nokia X30 is blessed with a powerful 50MP+13MP dual primary camera with all the bells and whistles that you need to take beautiful-looking shots. The OIS feature, which is normally found in top tier smartphones, can be found over here. Then there’s the 16MP selfie camera making the package complete.

Moving on to the storage side of things, you can choose either 128GB or 256GB of space. Either way, you will still be getting an expansion slot – which is a rare trait these days.

With a 4200 mAh battery supplying the necessary juice to the Nokia X30, it should be able to power up the device for a full day of usage.

Finally, the dual sim feature and 5G connectivity adds more value to the Nokia X30.

Conclusion:

Nokia X30 makes it way to the mid-range segment of the market, but its price seems to be slightly on the high side. But at least you know that you will be getting a good quality out of it, and should be able to last you for a couple of years. It is also worth noting that the Nokia X30 has a frame made with 100% recycled aluminum and back cover of 65% recycled plastic. If you are serious about protecting the planet, then this is your best choice.

Nokia X30 is scheduled to be released on September 21st 2022 with an estimated price tag of 529 Euro or ~525 USD. There will be two colors to choose from: Cloudy Blue and Ice White.
