Having just aged for a few months, you can see why it was making huge waves back then, making iQOO 9 an excellent choice for those looking for a camera smartphone with flagship performance.

A little bit pity though for those who had bought it, as now we have the iQOO 10 firm on our sights. Here you go with the specs:

  • 6.78-inch AMOLED Full HD+ with 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio or ~388 ppi density
  • 120Hz refresh rate
  • HDR technology
  • 1500 nits (peak) brightness
  • Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (4 nm) chipset, Octa-core (1x3.19 GHz Cortex-X2 & 3x2.75 GHz Cortex-A710 & 4x1.80 GHz Cortex-A510) processor, Adreno 730 and 8GB/12GB RAM

The iQOO 10 now comes with a slightly larger 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate rate which makes for a very fluid and beautiful looking images popping up on the screen. The HDR technology and 1500 nits brightness makes it look great even under a glaring sun.

Under the hood of the iQOO 10 is right up there with the big boys. All thanks to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset being paired with a very fast Octa-core processor, Adreno 730 graphics and up to a whopping 12GB of memory. This will ensure that nothing will be able to stop it its way, as it blazes through everything that you can throw at it.

What’s good all that power if you can’t have fun, eh? This is where the iQOO 10 shines with the 50MP+12MP+13MP+ primary camera with a 16MP selfie camera that is fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. You will be getting yourself a great shooter, no doubt about that.

Storage-wise, you get to choose either 128GB, 256GB or up to 512GB of internal storage. Just go with what your budget permits, as there won’t be an expansion slot. Just perform periodical maintenance and you should be doing fine.

Moving on to the battery side of things, the 4700 mAh battery found on the iQOO 10 is more than enough to supply the necessary juice to power up the smartphone for at least a day or two. And would you believe that it will only take 19 minutes to get it up to 100% of charge? Wow, really amazing stuff.

Then we have the latest Android 12 operating system, dual-sim feature and 5G capability that will give more value to an already exciting package.

Conclusion:

Vivo iQOO 10 is a great choice for those who are looking for a flagship performance without breaking the back. I feel sad for those who had previously bought its predecessor back in March though.

The Vivo iQOO 10 is slated to be released on July 26th 2022 with a price tag of 3,699 Chinese Yuan or ~549 USD for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant, 3,999 Chinese Yuan or ~589 USD for the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant, 4,299 Chinese Yuan or ~635 USD for the 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant and 4,699 Chinese Yuan or ~695 USD for the 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage variant. Three color options will be available, White, Black and Orange.
